Tasting Notes
The nose roars open with black cherry, sun-drenched plum, and warm cinnamon bark, softened by wafts of violet and cured tobacco. On the palate, it’s rich and mouth-coating—dark fruit compote, bitter chocolate, scorched rosemary, and a hit of fine-grained tannins that linger just long enough to feel like they’re telling a story. The finish is deep, smoky, and structured—a match for grilled meats, bold conversation, or both.

It’s always a pleasure to find a Paso Robles Cabernet that strikes a balance between decadence and freshness, built on a spine of good acidity. That freshness, particularly when served at cellar temperature around 57 degrees, makes for an easy-drinking experience—and this wine delivers exactly that. Dark berry fruit, graphite, earth and wet river stone notes weave together over supple, polished tannins to create a bright and effusively delicious expression from this California AVA. Chocolate-covered figs and spiced up plum notes add further intrigue.
